Why should I choose ABC Wedding Cars?
If you are not already impressed by our vehicles from the information and photographs on this site, we have no doubt that once you view the cars you will have no reservations regarding their quality. This combined with the friendly, professional service you will receive from us will ensure you will not hesitate to book. At ABC Wedding Cars we are continually exceeding our customers' expectations with personal touches, including champagne for the happy couple to enjoy during the journey to the reception and our unique survival kit in each car containing essentials such as safety pins, needle and thread, mints, mirror, tissues etc.

How soon should I book my cars?
As soon as you know your wedding date; many couples book as far as 2 years in advance.

Can I provisionally book my cars?
Yes. Call us to check availability. We will hold the cars for 5 days. During that time, if an enquiry is made by another party for the same date we will contact you before accepting their booking.

How do I confirm my booking?
We will ask you to complete a booking form and pay a deposit. Once your deposit has been received, we will send you a booking confirmation.

How much deposit do I pay?
Currently, we take 10% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no less than 1 month prior to the wedding date.

When will we know the schedule for the day?
At the time when your balance is due/paid we will confirm finer details of pickup locations and times, including any special arrangements.

Can I view the cars?
We certainly recommend you view the cars before booking. We are confident you will be impressed. However, please remember viewing is by appointment only.

What are the interiors of the cars like?
You can be assured that the interior of our cars match the high standard of exterior. Our Rolls Royce has traditional burgandy leather and our Mercedes saloons have black cloth and leather. Our Armstrong Siddeley has dark blue leather interior with a black roof.

What if it is raning?
Don't worry! We can't gaurantee good weather, but each car carries large clean white umbrellas and our professional chauffeurs will be only too happy to oblige. Although the Armstrong Siddeley is a convertible, the roof is raised/lowered in seconds and is water tight.

Will the car be dedicated to my wedding?
Yes. We only accept one booking per day. The cars will be at your service from the moment we make our first pickup until we leave you at your reception. If you have a photo location to visit, this is no problem at all.

My marraige and reception will be in one location. Will the car(s) stay for photos after the marraige ceremony or will this cost extra?
When you book our cars, the cars are then considered booked for the date specified. This does mean that the price remains the same. However, the cars will be at your disposal for a short time following the ceremony for photographs if you require them.

What do your chauffeurs wear?
All our chauffeurs are immaculately turned out in navy suits with white shirts and ABC Wedding Cars ties. Our male chauffeurs also have traditional navy caps.

Do you have a no smoking policy?
For the comfort of all our customers, we do not permit smoking in any of our cars.

How far will you travel?
Generally, we serve Edinburgh, Fife, Lothians, Central and Lanarkshire. However, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What if a car breaks down on my wedding day?
In the unlikely event of mechanical problems, we will endeavour to substitute the vehicle concerned with another vehicle of an equivalent style and standard.
In the worst case scenario where the bridal car breaks down and no alternative similar vehicle is available, a Mercedes will be used and a full refund given following the wedding.
Please note that this has never happened. Our cars are stringently maintained and serviced regardless of cost.

After our wedding, can the car return to take us to our overnight location?
Yes. For a small extra fee this can be arranged.

Can I book a car for another occassion rather than a wedding?
Of course. Whether it's a romantic anniversary meal, mother's day lunch or even a perfect way to propose to your partner, contact us with your request.
